Specific to settlement of events/outcomes where video assistant referee ("VAR") is consulted, the event which led to the "VAR" referral will, for the purposes of settlement/obvious error rules be deemed to have occurred at the actual time of its occurrence (rather than the time at which the relevant referral, or decision, was made).
For example, a foul is committed in the box at 15:30, play continues before a "VAR" referral is called after 16:00. This results in a penalty being awarded. We would class 15:30 as the time of the penalty being awarded and bets placed from that point may be subject to our Obvious Errors procedures as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
Where we have settled a bet and, due to a subsequent "VAR" referral and decision, it becomes apparent that initial settlement was inaccurate, bets will be re-settled according to the "VAR" decision.
For the purpose of this section, any available evidence will be used to determine the timing of events where a ''VAR'' decision has been made, including TV pictures and data acquired from feed providers.
